Please acknowledge the DrosDel Consortium in any publications that use the RS elements or deletions described here either as part of a general P element genome scan or in constructing deletions.

All constructed deletions should be submitted to FlyBase for curation and be made freely available to the fly community.

All fly lines are supplied "as is". Please confirm that the elements you order map to the correct region of the genome, preferably by sequencing and genetic means, before beginning any large-scale screens.

If you discover an element has been mis-mapped to the wrong part of the genome please contact us so we can confirm it and make any necessary alterations to our database.
